Welcome, I'm Dr Allen! Here at the Tettenhall campus we pride ourselves in being able to offer a diverse and inclusive learning community. Our main aim is to ensure that all our students flourish both academically and personally; to be successful not only in examinations but ultimately ‘grow’ to be the best version of themselves. When a student joins our learning community, they can expect to thrive and be successful. Our students are looked after by a very experienced specialist sixth form team who are trained in preparing students for taking the next-steps; be it studying at university, embarking on an apprenticeship, or taking up the offer of employment – quite simply, we get students to where they want to be. As part of their sixth form journey, all students receive bespoke one-to-one support navigating the university application process and all benefit from independent advice and guidance about potential career pathways.

Beyond the academic, we offer a wide range of varied and diverse enrichment opportunities to help our students develop into young, caring, and compassionate adults who actively contribute to their communities and to our society. Our innovative enrichment curriculum is tailored to the needs and interests of each individual student and includes opportunities to volunteer both in and out of school, lead peer-mentoring schemes, certify in accredited first aid and mental health courses, gain internationally recognized TEFL qualifications, or even try their hand at horticulture – this is just an example of the many different options available! Here at the Tettenhall campus, we are proud to be able to offer access to a brand-new state-of-the-art fitness suite and swimming pool, both facilities of which are available to our sixth form students across both sites.

We believe in getting the balance right between hard work and enjoyment and I am confident that our Post-16 provision meets this aim!
